LNER Azuma trains at King’s Cross station in London. I think these are a lovely looking design and they could be a very popular train. But, they are let down by the seats which were (apparently) specified by someone in the Department for Transport who had little regard for passenger comfort. Such a pity. These are long distance intercity trains and should have been given seating as such. Let us hope that when they receive their mid life refurbishment the personnel at the DfT have changed. | Adri
